4. IMO many conservatives are afraid of themselves, afraid of everything, they are for

the most part fearful immature people, so they need lots of rules and restrictions to keep them in place so they don't lose their way in life. Openness toward gays would be just too mind expanding for them, that's how little uptight minds think.

6. Yep, LOL!!! Like McCain!!! That's generally the type that thinks everyone is

after them. Some of the ugliest unattractive guys I've known were afraid some gay was going to get them. Hell, even their own hand must have been turned off by them.

11. Conservatives are afraid of everyone and everything that's not them.

Gays, blacks, Jews, women, hispanics, other religions, other nationalities, young people, anyone poorer than them, and on.

It's just that gays and Muslims are pretty much the only two categories left where it's okay to be openly bigoted.
