Christian couple who cannot accept homosexuality challenge their fostering ban

A Christian couple who were banned from becoming foster parents because they believed homosexuality was unacceptable are taking their case to the High Court in a landmark legal challenge.

Eunice and Owen Johns will argue that Christians are now being forced to live �in the closet� as the state�s interpretation of equality law favours gay rights over religious freedom.

The Christian Legal Centre, which is backing the couple, said the future of Christian foster carers and adoptive parents �hangs in the balance�.

Eunice and Owen, when Christians can be fired from their jobs, evicted from their homes, assaulted in the streets and get laughed at (or "you asked for it") by law enforcement, and have to put up with an endless river of shyte 24/7 just for existing, please do get back to us.

Religious bigotry is a lifestyle choice.

Being gay is a life we're born with.

"Persecution"! When you are afraid of showing ANY affection to your spouse in public for fear of being beaten or worse...when you have to worry about getting seriously sick because your spouse may not be allowed in to see you (let alone have medical power of attorney!)...when you live with filth being spewed about your people just for who they are and who they love...when you have supposed "Christians" voting away your right to marry the person you love because it makes them uncomfortable (or whatever)...then you can begin to whine. YOU ARE NOT BEING PERSECUTED! You CHOSE to follow a religion of hate and bigotry. My heart bleeds for you...NOT!
