3. Was even better than I anticipated. Fun, but compelling.

Part of the appeal, IMO, is that the documentary shows that these are real people with real problems, but they have talent and the ability to entertain.

I was maybe most impressed with the German highwire lady. She's amazing. I could totally see her in a Cirque du Soleil performance.

I didn't quite get what the deal was with the guy from Iowa. From what I understood, he didn't actually make a threat, he just asked some scary questions. That's not a crime, is it? Clearly, he has issues, but everyone does, so I'm still confused about it.

Anyway, I'll keep watching this series.
