what should be an interesting What Would You Do this Friday at 9

One of the segments of the show is going to be parents telling their gay kids in a restraunt that they won't be gay and other awful things. It should be interesting to see how people react to this, thank God, made up situation.

One of my favorites included a scenario where a waiter in a restaurant refused to serve a gay couple (all three men were actors). They also changed up the scenario to include two young children (the couple's son and daughter, also actors), and, IIRC, they rotated out the gay couple with a lesbian couple. The reactions from other people in the restaurant ran the gamut from passing indifference to furious outrage.

It's a great concept, and I hope they keep doing more of these. It really is interesting and enlightening to see how people react to situations where there is obvious unequal treatment, but in cases where only "other people" are involved.
