New Alabama Governor: Only Christians Are My Brothers And Sisters

I'm thinking LGBT citizens of Alabama need not apply... to anything... stay home... you are unworthy of the s**t for brains governor.

My heart goes out to you.. Florida borders Alabama so I guess you could say I can see Alabama from my front porch. Our Florida Governor is just as bad but maybe not quite as vocal.

"Speaking on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the very church where Dr. King once pastored, new Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley gave a speech in which he said that those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior are not his "brothers.""

5. Our new Governor in Georgia (which borders Alabama and Florida) is just as bad.

Last year's GOP Gubernatorial primary, and the subsequent runoff election, turned into a race between the two front runners (now-Governor Nathan Deal and former Secretary of State Karen Handel) as to which of the two could be the most anti-gay. The breed of social conservative that we have here in the Southeast is a whole different level of crazy.
