Protesters Target Gay Pride Events In 2 Cities

Gay Pride celebrations in Philadelphia and Orlando were targeted by evangelical Christian groups on the weekend.

In Philadelphia about 30 protestors carried signs denouncing homosexuality as thousands of people crammed into the city's gay neighborhood for Outfest.

Some of the demonstrators were from Repent America, others were street preachers who came from as far away as Los Angeles.

2. If they really wanted to do something constructive

they should just get together and pray... for themselves, for compassion and flexibility and gentleness and Christ-like humility.

And they might want to get together and try yanking the logs out of each others' eyes.

3. The protestors along the parade route in Orlando were

particularly loud. More disgusting was that many brought their children, encouraging hate and nontolerance in these kids--some appeared to be 4 or 5 years old.

4. In Chicago, they are largely kept in one place, on one side

of the street. Why can't other cities figure out that that will eliminate potential problems?

7. There are a few in LA every year.

The cops keep them in a little cage.

Gloria Alred who leads the parade almost every year stood up and started chanting "Shame! Shame! Shame!" in her car.

The “street preacher” who held the sign “ God abhors you” was of interest. The sign was particularly ugly in message.

Anyone know who these people are, who funds them?
