Elton John: Save HIV/AIDS funding in Fla.

(Tallahassee, Fla.) Singer Elton John is urging Florida Gov. Rick Scott to protect a program that helps low-income HIV/AIDS patients get medication needed to control the virus.
John, founder of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, wrote to Scott on Tuesday after hearing the Department of Health was considering changes in income eligibility.

A department spokeswoman says there are no immediate plans to change the AIDS Drug Assistance Program, though it held hearings to discuss the possibility of lowering income requirements to participate.

Remember that Elton John is a entertainer and was paid 1 million dollars for entertaing, after all it's what he does for a living.

Forget about the fucking people with AIDS who cares? But damn Elton John for doing what he does best.

6. Forget as well that the wildly wealthy entertainer does private

shows exclusively as a source of funding for his AIDS Foundation. Public concerts are what he does for a living, the private shows are for the cause. But forget about that.

Rush Limbaugh's wedding go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation, right? So he has already gotten a million from the bastard for that. to do HIV Health Literacy Education in 3 Southern US cities over the past few years, where the epidemic has exploded.

What really sucks about the Bush years is that way too many people have adopted the 'you are either with us or against us' attitude, and have completely forgotten about nuance.
