Michele Bachmann woos Iowa Christians, attends anti-gay service

Handing more ammunition to detractors who says Michele Bachmann has an aggressive anti-gay agenda, the GOP presidential candidate attended a church service in Iowa Sunday in which the pastor labeled homosexuality "immoral" and "unnatural."

According to NBC News, Bachmann attended a non-denominational church near Des Moines along with her husband Marcus. She was gripping her personal copy of the Bible.

Bachmann read to the congregation from the book of Philippians, NBC reported, saying "Whatever is pure, whatever is lovely think well of these things."

The pastor, Jeff Mullen, gave a 30-minute presentation on his church's beliefs, including its disapproval of homosexuality. He also showed a video from a man who claimed to have been gay before having a conversation with God.

The Minnesota clinic run by Marcus Bachmann has been accused of employing religion-based therapy to attempt to make homosexuals straight. He has denied the allegations.

Michele Bachmann has steadfastly wooing Christian pastors and other religious voters in advance of Saturday's Iowa Straw Poll. Friday, her campaign announced the endorsement of more than 100 state pastors and religious leaders.

Their jesus and god must be so proud of them........
The only trouble is that the Jesus and God of the book that they carry around would send them to hell.......

There were a number of worshipers who were none too happy with Marcus slipping them a business card in front of their friends and neighbors on the front steps of the Church following Michelle's sermon.

Then the same logic should apply for Bachmann and Republicans.

I'm sure the media will ignore it though.

No doubt it was autographed.

I fear she's too fucking insane to get the GOP nod--not for the crazy, but because she'll self-destruct somehow before that happens. So let's savor it while we've got it. :)

but SHE didn't know that. In my view, she's always been a foil.
