2. I don't watch DWTS, but I'm curious to know how Chaz is doing.
I hear he survived the first two or three eliminations despite not being that great (comparatively speaking) of a dancer. I suppose that's a good thing, because that means that he is connecting with the TV viewing audience and winning their support. And that is in spite of the "zOMG, your tomboys are going to be confused and want to grow up to be men because Chaz is on TV!!!1" hysteria promulgated by the right-wing nutjobs who are too often given a voice in the M$M.

Any update on how Chaz is faring in the competition? :hi:

3. I really don't watch, I gather he's not really getting better, although
last night his scores were higher than quite a few others...odds are he'll stick around a fwe more weeks.

6. I Really Respect Chaz and What He's Doing, But...
He's just not a dancer. Don't get me wrong - I think that he's a great role model for both transgenders and people of size. But he just doesn't have rhythm. I think that he's being judged on a different scale than most of the other dancers are, simply because he's bringing in the controversy and ratings. Same with Nancy Grace-less, who still looks like she's dancing at her high school prom. I also find it interesting that the judges - one of whom is gay - seem like they're trying to get Carson Kressley voted off. His dance last night was better technically and much more entertaining than Chaz's or Nancy's, but he got the lowest score of the night.

4. Have never watched DWTS before, watching now to see Chaz -
- but don't watch many of the others. He has been having trouble with his knees and one ankle and his weight isn't helping his stamina BUT he's been working hard and improving. The judges said his dance last night was his best one yet.
