Angry Gays Make Sally Kern Fear for Life

Oklahoma state representative Sally Kern, who has called gays more dangerous than terrorists, apparently means that literally — she recently said she believes her antigay stances could put her life in jeopardy.

Kern, appearing Monday on the conservative religious radio show WallBuilders Live, told hosts David Barton and Rick Green that “fear gripped my whole body” when she realized she was receiving angry emails from gay people after a video of her remarks about gays and terrorists was posted online in March 2008.

Green commented that her reaction was likely “physical fear” rather than merely “political fear,” and she responded that she and her husband “asked ourselves the question, are we willing to even lose our lives over this?”

But I can't picture any group less likely to resort to violence than homosexuals. The only thing I can think of is that maybe she's buying into Hollywood depictions of "dyke" lesbians as leather-wearing, weapon-wielding motorcycle mamas ready to fight at a drop of a hat.

Or, for that matter, any gay rights opponent. I'm just so beyond tired of people like this being treated with kid gloves by the M$M as if they have some sort of equal and valid counter-opinion on the topic of gay rights when all they really do is spread lies, distortions, bigotry, and fear that put the very lives and livelihoods of GLBT persons in jeopardy.

But I still think Sally Kern a disgusting old bigot.

Like that poor straight boy in Wyoming who was beat to death by us homosexuals, oh wait, nevermind that was Matthew Sheppard, who was beat to death for being gay.

Or that poor straight boy that was shot twice in the back of the head by the gay kid who hated him.. oh, wait, nevermind again, that was Larry King who was shot for being gay.

Just a couple of way too damn many examples.

I tell that pathetic, hypocritical creature that calls herself a representative Kern that when she can cite actual examples of gays killing straights, I'll give her ridiculous argument a shred of credence.
