Marcavage (Repent America) files suit against Lansdowne
Michael Marcavage, leader of the anti-gay group Repent America, has filed a federal lawsuit against Lansdowne and its various officials, claiming his rights were violated when he was dragged out of a council meeting last year.

According to his lawsuit, Marcavage was addressing Lansdowne borough council members on July 21, 2004, expressing concern that council would enact measures attracting more gays to Lansdowne, when he was dragged out of the meeting room.

He was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct and disrupting a public meeting. Prosecutors later dropped the charges.

Marcavage, 25, says his constitutional rights were violated, and his reputation was harmed due to the alleged actions of borough officials.

“In my opinion, the issue is moot,” Scott said. “He {Marcavage} is entitled to come to any public council meeting, and speak for his seven minutes about anything he wants to, just like anyone else. So I really don’t understand why there’s a need for a lawsuit and an injunction for that.”

“The borough has no business enacting measures that protect people based on whom they have sex with,” Marcavage told PGN. “Their entire purpose is to promote their agenda of homosexuality as being a normal and natural lifestyle. Government should have no business in promoting any type of sexual behavior. But that’s exactly what Lansdowne is doing with their non-discrimination policy. It opens the door for any particular type of bizarre and perverse sexual behavior to be protected.”

Marcavage wants Lansdowne’s council to stop funding the domestic-partners program, he added.

“I believe the sexually immoral should not serve in public office,” Mirage continued. “The last thing we need is men, dressed as women, parading around borough hall.”

2. Someone needs to direct him toward the male
leaders of the Concerned "Women" For America.

Since this lunatic doesn't seem to mind people marching around masquerading as "christians" in order to push their political agenda, one wonders why he hasn't quite figured out that there would be no need for domestic partners protection if buttheads like HIM weren't running around demanding gays be treated as human sacrifices for his sacriligious teachings.
