1. I didn 't know they did.
My "straight" Christmas tree always has white, non-flashing lights. In fact, I hate flashing lights, they annoy the hell out of me...

3. I guess my trees R straight?
I hate flashing lights - we do have a strand of lights - fairly old - that 'twinkle' - some of the lights flicker randomly. There are not many and since it is only one strand - we usually have mega lights on the tree - it creates interest and adds an extra layer to the tree.

Flashing? Never!

it is individual choice? Do trees make the conscious choice to have flashing or non-flashing lights when they are seedlings, or when they see that dreaded axe coming at their nether regions? I've always wondered and Pat Robertson has never had the time to address this all-important issue!
