Romney announces he won't run for re-election. Both Republicans pro-gay
From gay-bashing Marxist fag-hag Brian Camenker at the anti-gay Article 8 Alliance:

=== 4. Gov. Romney announces he won't run for re-election. Both Republican hopefuls are pro-gay, but wait. . . ===

It's no surprise that Gov. Mitt Romney really wants to be President.

Nor is it a shock that Romney (like Cellucci and Weld before him) finds that being Governor of Massachusetts actually demands work and political skill, and isn't always fun. So after spending millions of dollars of his own money to get it, he's announced that he just isn't interested in running again. Not with all those Republican presidential primaries next year just waiting for a white knight who turned around the Olympics! (And it's certainly more fun to speak in front red-meat Republicans in South Carolina than actual constituents in Worcester.)

But at least Romney was able to be shamed into occasionally doing the right thing, such as vetoing an extra few hundred thousand dollars for homosexual propaganda in the public schools. We think that deep down, he knows right from wrong. Don't count on that from the field that's left:

The two Democrats in the running, Attorney General Tom Reilly and former Clinton administration lawyer Deval Patrick, will never be shamed by any left-wing lunacy (which they're not already advocating). Patrick's been particularly busy collecting endorsements from every homosexual group in New England. (So don't expect any open doors in the Patrick administration!)

And the Republicans, well, have two candidates who would probably be Democrats anywhere else in the country. Lt. Governor Kerry Healey (who I once had the opportunity to speak with at length on social issues) supports homosexual civil unions, abortion, and the usual squishy RINO positions on most things. Our impression is that she'd feel much more at home at a Planned Parenthood or Gay-Straight Alliance meeting than, say, any Mass Citizens for Life event.

And now there's Christy Mihos in the race, a millionaire convenience store magnate who did the right thing while on the Mass Turnpike Board, single-handedly fighting the crooks running the Turnpike Authority until Jane Swift had enough of him. All well and good. But Mihos is socially to the left of Castro, as they say, supporting abortion, homosexual marriage, and the usual culture of death stuff. On top of that, Howie Carr reports in his Friday column that Mihos gave sizeable political donations to Ted Kennedy, Joe Kennedy, Bill Bradley, and even Billy Bulger. Is this a guy you want to be your Republican governor? Maybe not.

The possible good thing on the horizon. . . the rumors (reported in the press) that Sen. Scott Brown will run for Lieutenant Governor. He's a solid guy, the kind of Republican we'd like to see in high places. But right now it's just a rumor; he told us this week that he plans to continue doing what he's doing now.

And what about Jim Rappaport??

More to come. . .

1. Scott Brown is an idiot.
He comes to events late and asks to go ahead of other speakers because of one stupid thing or another and then leaves early. His kid has had 3 birthdays this year. He has no legislation to speak of and gets by 0n his pretty face. He just rejoined the national guard. They let him off and now he is back again. I would love to see him in Iraq and he get a bullet in the butt.

2. A bullet in the butt could be fatal...
... given that it could penetrate and strike his head, which seems to be lodged therein.b

3. You should write letters to your local papers to that effect
Minus the part about the bullet, of course.

A case of neurosyphillis would be both more appropriate and redundant.
