Supreme Court Rules For Military In Gay Issues Case
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/03/030606military.htm

The Supreme Court in a unanimous ruling Monday said that colleges and universities that accept federal money must allow military recruiters on their campuses, even if those schools have policies opposing 'don't ask, don't tell'.

The opinion was written by Chief Justice John Roberts.

The court heard arguments in the case last December.

The case involved an appeal by the Bush administration of a lower court ruling that said the Solomon Amendment, a law tying funding to military recruitment drives, was unconstitutional because it restricted the schools' freedom of speech.

2. I read one idea somewhere that I liked
Schools that receive federal funds are obligated to allow recruiters on campus. Fine. Is there any obligation that requires schools to let them set up where ever they damned will please? Is it "legal" to banish military recruiters to a remote, unused classroom in an underutilized part of campus?

3. Don't ask don't tell is so hypocritical
We don't feel the need to protect our troops from bombs by giving them enough armor, but we DO feel the need to protect our troops from the evil homosexuals by keeping out well-qualified soldiers.

Now explain to me how that makes sense.
