Up-to-Date in Kansas City
KC's mayor, Kay Barnes, has done a send-up of June Cleaver on the cover of Camp, the Kansas City gay monthly's June 2006/Pride issue. It is hilarious. The cover was featured in today's Kansas City Star!

2. That is a great magazine!
I accidently picked it up when I was in town listening to my son play a gig, I thought it was The Pitch. I read it from cover to cover. Outstanding paper.

3. Isn't Kay Barnes also a cousin of Walter Cronkite?
The more I find out about her, the more I'm impressed by her........She gets things done in a low-key, low-profile way!
