Partner just offered a kidney to his sister
Damn, he's too old, 72. They'll stop him won't they? I find myself hoping there's no match. I can't say anything , I've had a liver transplant, but it was cadaver donor.

2. In Iowa, top age for donors is 60.
I can't imagine they'd even consider him as a donor, so don't worry too much about it.

4. I would do anything for my brother.....my sisters, not so much....
What can I say? I wish they gave me reason to care but they pretty much choose not to associate. Their loss.

5. That's very dear of him. The docs & protocol will determine if his age is a barrier...
They won't do it if they think there's too much risk to him. His sister is lucky to have such a caring brother, and he is lucky to have you.

6. I don't know if they will turn him down, but it is very generous of him.
All the youngsters here don't know what they will be dealing with one day and that's probably for the best. It's tough getting old. We've been sick for two weeks now and can't throw off this flu. It's getting really, really old.
