Smith College students protest the ’Born Gay Hoax’
From Bay Windows:

When Smith Republican Club members hung a banner advertising a speaking engagement at the college for Ryan Sorba, author of The Born Gay Hoax they probably planned for a moderate turnout, and certainly expected that attendees would at least come in through the door.

But neither was the case. Videos and photos of protests sparked by Sorba’s April 29 appearance at the college have been posted on Queertoday.com and Massresistance’s website. Each of the videos show the room full to capacity with people chanting and cheering, drowning out Sorba’s speech. At one point, the large arched windows at the rear of the hall can been seen to be opened and more protesters step into a room already crowded with students clapping, cheering, and chanting "We’re here. We’re Queer. Get used to it!"

Students eventually surround the podium and, after some inaudible discussion with security and a very defeated looking Republican Club member, Sorba is escorted out of the room.

There are also video footage of the event and a copy of a notice posted to the school's web site at the link.

2. Excellent!
The best way to deal with such vile, lying creatures is to shut them up and ridicule them whenever possible. If only there had been enough courageous students to shout down Adolf Hitler in the late 1920's!

3. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
That's hilarious! It's amazing to me how downright stupid so many people are. And what publisher would actually publish such a piece of vile garbage?

5. Hannity, Beck and Coulter have publishers.
Tripe sometimes has a wide audience...not that I want to hang out with them, mind.

4. HEY, I've got one!
Since it's OK with some folks that BIOLOGY is open to discussion, Why don't we re-open the "Blacks sure can tap dance" or "Those Japs just have smart genes" arguments? I mean, they're OPINIONS, right? Therefore according to this TRIPE they are valid points of discussion?

Hey let's just go all the way and let them bring in PRO-SLAVERY SPEAKERS, that want the CIVIL WAR re-fought!

:sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

We are headed down the evolutionary black hole of extinction, where all terminally stupid creatures fall in.

6. When the whole Ted Haggard
fiasco was going on, wasn't there a member of his church (or something) who said effectively that he knew that Haggard was probably homosexual because he (Haggard) thought homosexuality wasn't a choice and "they always say that "?

When in order to hold your beliefs you have to go against scientific and psychological evidence, I would say that your beliefs aren't worth having.

9. I wish the protest would have been kept from stopping the speaker
Sorry, but I'm still a freedom of speech kind of guy - and when anyone can stop some speech that I totally hate, then it's an easy step to be able to stop mine because someone else disagrees.

Besides, some of these totally unhinged speakers actually help others see how wrong their statements are. I respect Phelps unhinged rantings way more than Dobsons carefully cultivated statements - when we all know they're saying exactly the same thing.
