There were thousands of people out protesting last night.

They split into several groups and reconvened at the meeting point
later.

Keep up the fight!

This Prop h8 is dead wrong, hateful and prejudiced.

:(

HRC and the "No on 8' campaign said they weren't conceding as millions of votes remain to be counted!

WTH? How can they call it then?

9. exactly. her in Los Angeles, provisional ballots ranged from
10% per precinct to 37% per precinct from what we can see so far.
hundreds of thousands of them.
In addition all the vote by mail dropped off at precinct and norwalk (380,000) will BEGIN to be counted today.

and the yellow emrgency abllots?

We don't know how many were used. None have yet been counted.

10. How can they call it? Easy
For Prop 8 to fail at this point, the outstanding ballots would have to be 58 percent against it. No county in the state came up with that kind of lead -- so it's safe to say the outstanding ballots will reflect the vote already cast.

In fact, there's a possibility that the provisional ballots represent a large number of blacks and Latinos, and those are groups that voted heavily in favor.

So, keep hoping, but don't set yourself up for a huge disappointment.

Our best hope now is in the courts.
