Perrycare Puts Lone Star State at Back of the Health Care Pack

Mitt Romney's rivals in the Republican field are trying to paint him as a champion of socialized medicine and godfather of President Obama's health-care program. Rick Perry is principle among them. But Perry would do well to look at the skeletons in his own closet - some perhaps belonging to the Texans who couldn't afford health care under his leadership.

You see, while just 5.3% of the folks in Romney's former state of Massachusetts are uninsured, that figure is a whopping 27.2% in Texas. They rank at first and last, respectively, when it comes to the percentage of residents insured.

2. He's well-groomed at being the conservative's #1 pick.

Seeing as how they look at the world upside down, his presidency will fit well with their belief that the US is #1. Besides, it gives them such chills up their spine when they realize more people will be suffering, especially the poor.
