Gotta go to the doctor soon - sucks
I'm type 2 diabetic, with lingering aches and pains since having lymphoma 10 years ago. Whenever I have a scare it turns out to be nothing, but only after a bunch of expensive tests that end up sending me to collections. Looks like another round is coming up soon, since I haven't been managing things well and am reluctant to go to the doctor due to the expense. Any other stories like mine on DU?

1. I'm sorry. *hugs* Yeah, I can totally relate. I don't take good care of myself, and I have
no money or insurance to get myself to the doc. I hate going but then everything turns out fine but then we're slammed with bills.

Ironically, I have life insurance, so if I die my family will be all right. It's only when I live that I cost them money. *sigh*

2. Yup ,600 mgs. of alpha lipoic acid a day keeps the doctor away...
But I must admit it is no cure.

3. The good news is...
I got on my mini-trampoline, ran inplace for 15 minutes, and after 45 minutes checked my blood sugar. It had gone down a hundred points. I'll never stop spreading the good news about having a mini-trampoline, especially if you have hip/leg issues like I do. Best low-impact aerobics ever.

4. My mini-trampoline is out in the garage...
I saw your other post about it and you've inspired me to get it out of storage and use it.

6. I did a quick Google search...
they start at $25. I've had mine so long, I don't remember where I bought it, but I would think you could find one at a local store that sells exercise equipment. That would avoid shipping costs.
