A point to ponder; Regarding the devastation in NO, will the righties
decry the "socialism" idea of providing medical care for New Orleans & the hit areas - because the "socialist" idea providing medication to all, not just those able to pay, will stave off some of the spread of disease?

1. They'll complain to eachother, but being hypocrites, they won't have the
balls to complain publicly.

i also imagine that the KKK's numbers will increase since all of those black new orleans will be getting help from the state and fed. governments. you should see all the racist talk over in freeptard-land.. they are falling all over themselves talking about how the black looters in N.O. should be shot. they've got a gazillion pics of the looters posted over there.. it would not surprise me if those idiots try to form some sort of vigilante group to go round 'em up.. they could wear white sheets to identify themselves.

2. I don't ever go to Free Republic for just that reason
They are an isolated, extremist population. Why would I go there when I could be cleaning the grout in the bathroom?

3. the truth about socialism
Socialism is a noble idea, but unfortunately it doesn't work. They try to provide health care for all, but the system is overburdened and cannot possibly meet everybody’s needs.

I live in Sweden. Our system is praised by the world as the best example of socialized medicine, but it’s all a lie. People are dieing while waiting months, even years for treatment. The problem has gotten so bad, the government poured 5.25 billion kronor into the system, hoping to speed up waiting times, but the money just vanished. This is what happens when the government gets involved.

Now we have hospitals closing left and right, and the situation is getting worse. I’m sorry, I wish universal health care did work, but it does not.

4. THE PRIVATIZATION OF THE WORLDS RESOURCES...
Not even countries with socialized medicine have been able to escape the multi-national corporate take-over of their health care systems.
