You Want Health Care? Then FIGHT For IT
The insurance companies have ramped up their campaign, there are more health care lobbyists than there are congressmen.

WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR HEALTH CARE. THE INSURANCE COMPANIES WON'T GO EASILY.

Part of winning this type of war is GOOD LEADERSHIP.

Thats why I subscribe to Prosperity Agenda's actions, because they
are led by one of the Baucus Eight, Kevin Zeese, who I know is a
very talented and very savy activist. Zeese has been successful in the e-voting
activism issue, and he knows what he is doing. I've seen his work, and
I've been in the e-voting issue along side of him.

If you get their newsletter, you will see that the battle is not over,
and Prosperity Agenda will keep us in the battle.

THE WAR ISN'T OVER, WE NEED YOU TO ENLIST NOW FOR THE LONG HAUL

The Insurance Companies have the big bucks, but they aren't the real people.
They have made tools of some fools, but those are just a small portion of illiterate and hostile
white people who only listen to Rush Limpballs.

THERE ARE MANY TOOLS WE WILL USE TO WIN THIS WAR - YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THEM ALL YET

5. Fax The White House!!!
Make them run out of toner and tell them how you feel about health care. Don't let the public option go without a fight. Fax: 202-456-2461. Pass it on. The idea is that you will get more attention by communicating in less conventional ways.

I faxed a handwritten note and discussed some of my own experiences about health care and why I believed it was important to keep the Public Option.

Also, fax your congressmen. The best source I've found for complete contact information without jumping through hoops is the following: http://lac.icsc.org/icsc/home/ It's an association for retailers, but the information is as good for us as it is for them.

Make it happen!!!

6. Public Option Day September 2nd
The inclusion of a public option in health care reform is
absolutely essential to ensuring that this change serves the
people and not the insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
The delivery of the country into the hands of the democratic
party came with the responsibility to change the way
Washington does business and the democratic party has much to
lose if it appears to sell out the interests of the common
good for big business and small victories. I hear this
sentiment everywhere and not just in blue Massachusetts. The
majority of this country supports the public option and it is
important that this majority becomes a visible entity. In
this spirit, I propose a Public Option Day with your support.
I will be holding an event at the Massachusetts State House in
Boston on September 2nd from noon-2pm and also encouraging
those who cannot attend the event but support the inclusion of
a public option to wear a unifying color (blue, of course...)
to show our majority status. If you are in the Boston Area,
please come out! And if you are elsewhere, make Public Option
Day happen in your own city and we can become a unified voice.
Please show us your support in this effort and we can win the
reform that we and future generations require. Thank you.
