Conservatives like to complain, but they don't want to pay to fix the problems

Conservatives like to complain, but when a solutions are put forward they like to scream.

They don't like the fact that illegal aliens are in this country, but if you told them that you'd have to raise taxes to fortify the border, they'd scream.

They claim that non-citizens vote in US elections, but if you required them to present proof of citizenship when voting, they'd scream.

They claim that people vote in multiple locations, but if you required people to dip their finger in ink after voting, to prevent them from
voting twice, they'd scream.

They claim that they don't want government provided health care, but if you shut down medicare, they'd scream.

They claim that we need to keep track of when foreigners leave the country, but if the goverment said that they were going to put passport exit checkpoints at the borders and airports, they'd scream.

Basically, they like to complain, but they don't want to spend any money to fix any of the problems.

BUT, if you told people that anyone who shows up at an emergency room has to show proof of citizenship, how would they react?
