I just couldn't help it! I received a 'form' letter from my congressman, Paul Ryan, Republican, 1st District, Wisconsin. In it he stated:



I just couldn't help it! I sent him this and I FEEL SO GOOD!

THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE AND YOU KNOW IT! You are no different than any of the other lying jerks in your party of dissembling fractious idiots who are bent on destroying the fabric of our country. I detest you and all you stand for, Mr. Ryan...you spout lies like a fountain and your brain functions at the level of a retarded four-year-old. You treat your constituents as though they are as stupid as you are and then expect them to believe that you care about anything other than your own pocketbook; your own welfare; and your own future. If you had to live the way the rest of us do, Mister, you would not have the gall to send out a letter containing the above. You make me as sick as this country is from eight years of Republican lies, deceit, and the fundamental desecration of our Constitution that your party has foisted upon this country and then you have the gall to write the above! I just read your journal and hereby offer a sincere apology. I stand by my right to speak any way that I wish, but I now have a small bit of understanding to your reaction of the word I used. To have a child that has been harmed in any way is heart-breaking and I really should not have used it in speaking about/to Ryan. I will try to be more sensitive in the future and I will pray for you and your child. It should not have taken a kick in the head from you to make me realize that my anger at Ryan exceeded standards of decency. Calling people names does not help anything...a lesson we both need to learn.
