2. Was the biter pro-reform or against reform?

That was the first question that I was asked when I started a conversation about this with some people at work.

I asked them, how did that matter, but they wouldn't comment until they found out whether they were on the side of the biter or the person who was bit.

That's sad.

Sort of reminds me of what occurred after the dangling chad election in 2000. A lot of people, mostly Democrats were saying that they should redo the election in that jurisdiction, while others, mostly Republicans disagreed and said no. I often wonder how many, on both sides, would have held the same opinion that they did, if the results had been reversed.

3. Luckily the victim had Medicare

Ironically, the guy who lost his pinky finger in the scuffle -- who was against "socialized medicine" -- had Medicare.
