Had my annual in-office pacemaker check this morning ; All is well,
and the thing looks good for maybe another 5 years. Also, the wires are still perfect, which means that replacing the sending unit is a simple proceedure compared to installing another whole thing...
It's working just fine!

4. Yeah - my heart used to stop at times while I was asleep - I'd wake up
gasping for air, fists clenched as if I had been in a fight...it was my sleeping mind trying to keep me alive. I had this for decades before anyone realized what was happening, and I figured the pacemaker would be a good investment...worked great for theh last 5 years, seems good for almost another 5, then I can get a new powersource/controlling unit and who knows how long that will last...the nurse told me one of her patients is 96 and doing great!
