Antivaxer Glenn Beck, is going to kill somone if the flu vaccine becomes mandatory

Okay, that's not exactly what he said:

The rhetoric from anti-vaxers like Beck is truly scary. It's scary that he thinks the government will take his children and even more scary that his answer to this is to take up arms and shoot someone. It's scary that Beck (who has been pretty outspoken about his fear of the vaccine) has so little understanding of science, technology, medicine, and society, and that he lacks basic common sense. The irony is that science has provided the technology for the vehicle he uses to promote his anti-science and anti-vax nonsense.

Why is it that the idiots like Mr. Beck always have to over-procreate? I actually feel sorry for his kids - their dad is a raging alcoholic barely holding back the urge to go on a wild bender while at the same time trying to suppress a nasty case of paranoid schizophrenia (my guess). Oh, and he's a complete sociopath.

Not a real threat as far as I can tell - very rural.

He's in his 70's, but I know many younger people who are just as rigid in their thinking.

remember on the x-files. There was something about small pox vaccines and cataloging dna, or something, and something about bee pollen and aliens impregnating women, and something about the government hiding an alien invasion or something like that. And some kind of oil stuff in the artic that turned people's eyes black. And an alien guy that you could only kill by stabbing in the back of the neck, and he was like a clone or something. Anyway, I wonder if that is what has him worried. I bet it is.

The alien virus that looked like oil but would infect by permeating the skin. There was one episode where Mulder found a buried train car full of alien corpses in the southwest that all had smallpox vaccine scars. Another episode had Mulder and Scully in an abandoned coal mine in WV looking through files of people who were "abducted". Yes, you could only kill the alien hybrids with a special instrument to a specific spot in the back of the neck. Fortunately most of us realized that it was fictional TV.

Beck was in a major meltdown yesterday because an elementary school took down
a swingset. Apparently, there had been some injuries due to the swingset. So
the school took it down.

Beck was freakin.

I'm telling ya. You have to watch the show. I've never actually watched a dry
drunk swirl down the drain while careening through a panic-driven breakdown. But
it's on Fox for all to see.

Yesterday, he went OFF on the new, healthy school lunches. Boy was he angry.

It's the government!!!!! They're telling us what to eat!!!!! They're trying
to control us!!! And our kids!!!! Beck said, "Changing to healthy menus is
a nudge, but pretty soon, it will a push!!!!!"

A push. A PUSH I TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The government is trying to control
our lives with salad and apple wedges. RUN!!! Run for your ever lovin liiiiiiives!!!!!!!

I'm sorry if that was annoying, but seriously. That was the show yesterday.

Except when I'm at the doctor's office on mental health day. It's deliciously ironic that I'm there for a checkup on my psych meds and I get to watch a raving lunatic on the TV.

I wish that I could say that Beck's career has plateaued, but that level of crazy is important to Fox News.

I used to say, that if I ever thought I understood "Silence of the Lambs" I was in trouble; but, now that's trivial compared to prime time.

No matter how bad things get, I can always imagine myself living in Beck's skull and know that there are far worse fates than my own.

It's almost as if he's presenting a test challenge to his patients. Depending on how they react, he'll know what's going on with them.

My kick ass medical plan doesn't cover the $300/hr psychiatrist, so my family doc does the best he can with my condition.

Why, WHY would anyone unrec a thread about Glenn Beck and his conservative lunacy?

He pulls scenarios from out of his ass, and weaves them into whole cloth.
