Saw one of the new German zeppelins floating
in the sky yesterday. First one taking passengers in eighty years
the LA Times reported. Remember seeing one of the big ones going
over shortly before the Hindenburg crashed. Don't know which one though.

Very cool! In regards to your Zeppelin sighting when you were younger, do you remember what year it was and where you saw it? I might be able to help you out in identifying it.:hi:

3. It was probably in the mid thirties, and i
was on my grandparent's farm which is located about eighty miles west of St. Louis. Hope that helps.
It was such a rare sight that the imagine firmly implanted itself in my brain.:).....z

4. It was likely the Graf Zeppelin...
...because, by the mid-30's, both of the US Navy's zeps, the USS Akron & USS Macon had been destroyed. Nonetheless, you are very fortunate to have witnessed such a spectacle!
