If nothing bad happened, if I didn't get hit by a car or have chest pains while I was running, if I didn't find a lump while showering, etc. - it was a success (whew!)

Then I settle down for a nice quiet evening and a glass of wine, a good dinner and a restful night's sleep.

6. I'm 70 and I just drove my 8 year old grandson to school
We missed the school bus this morning. Not good, but if thats the worst thing that happens today I am way ahead of the game.

He stays here from 6:30 to 8 in the mornings and for about an hour after school-keeps me young.
