Computers
Edited on Mon May-08-06 02:59 AM by oscar111
Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes

If you are a tekkie, and have bulletproof equipement, can you test this LW link?

I went to hear Huey Long {again} on tape recently, and later my firefox browser was badly messed up. Not sure if the link was the cause.

I think the "listen to audio" button might have been the cause.
Can you test that button with the bulletproof computers i figure you science types must be using? Dont do this unless you really know computers.. i dont want anyone to mess up their browser.

I am afraid to send others to listen to Huey until i get the site checked out as a safe one for us to visit and not get computer trouble.

Thank you unto the tenth generation!

PS George Mason U. is the host of the page. In maryland i think.

Here is the link

Maybe you have a problem with your Quicktime plugin?

2. That page is fine.
There's nothing out of the ordinary. I agree with greyl. It might be your Quicktime plugin that's messed up. Why don't you try uninstalling Quicktime and reinstalling it.

4. OK, thanks to all!! I feel a lot better now, and will use that linked pag
page to let others hear Huey in person.

It is such a great tape recording. I am very glad to have safe use of it again.

Like i said, i was not sure what caused the browser trouble. I think it may have been that Quicktime app.

I will try the idea of reinstalling the Quicktime.

I am so glad you tekkies have been here for me.

I am just a liberal arts type, and not up to testing technical computer stuff.

Oscar the ox.
