strange straight long cloud over NYC this afternoon.
Remembering discussions earlier a month or so ago about magnetic man created weather interferences with long straight clouds.

I don't know how to post the image which I saved from accuweather. Here is the original link to satellite photo. But probably will change.

2. that is it. it was very distinct on the ground
like a perfect line that was completely even. No articulation or feathering. extending out as far as the horizon. I was in the car in lower Manhattan but when I got to my studio on the seventh floor in brooklyn along the east river it had gotten less distinct but definitely still there. I have a image from 2:15 that shows it better.

How do you mount an image? Let me know and I will mount the earlier image.

There was strange sonic booms and questionable quake in florida too...I think last night.

I will try to find the magnetic weather control discussion...I probably bookmarked it.

4. We had a long tube cloud here yesterday am
I thought it was weird. It looked like a long round tube. I was on my way to work and didn't get a picture.

8. Interesting

I saw something like that on satellite imagery today over southern arkansas. Not that pronounced but definitely a noticable cloud line.

9. Ok, check these out
There's probably an easy explanation someone is willing to give but I just took these off of InterWarn.

The odd thing about this is it really hasn't moved in the last 4 or 5 hours. It's still in basically the same place it was when I first saw it.

Need someone around Pine Bluff or Memphis to look up and tell what it looks like from the ground.

12. It's a classic frontal boundary
Cold air is lifting warm Gulf air causing a line of storms. This is a frequent sight this year ... especially tonight (Mar 22). There are several such fronts on the satellite map tonight.

The explanation for why the cloud "hadn't moved" for hours is because the satellite image on the site you viewed wasn't updated for hours. This is a common practice.

13. Chemtrails = Meteorological pseudoscience
The issue of "chemtrails" has been debunked many times here on DU. The thing that gets me is how otherwise intelligent participants on DU are just like creationists - they've had all the facts about condensation trails presented to them but continue to cling to something that isn't real. As with all individuals are who into pseudoscience, "chemtrails" satisfy some kind of inner need for a sinister, hidden, and growing threat. It's harmless, so far as I can tell, but illustrates something very interesting about the human psyche in that emotional needs can overrule rational thought to such a degree.

11. Interesting...the weather changed quite suddenly today.
I went to have coffee w/ a few friends about 1:30 pm in Midtown and when we went in it was quite warm and sunny. We left at about 3:30 and it was cold and overcast. The temperature drop seemed extreme for such a short period of time and we all commented on it.
