I can modify it, and use it for my porch light which is in a shaded area, and not conducive to using the sort of sensors that are out there... Now I can make my own.

5. A few months ago (when it was still warm)

It's been a few years since I've built any circuits of my own, but I remember how. Maybe a trip down to Radio Shack is doable this weekend....

I've got quite a few batteries from cameras in the house that
still have some life in them (hence I don't want to get rid of
them yet) so this will be really handy!
