Very funny bit on VH1
I was flipping channels yesterday and came across the end of VH1's "most awesomely bad metal moments" countdown. #1 was Europe's "Final Countdown" song. One line is "we're headed to Venus". One of the commentators, a comedian, mocked this by saying: "What an idiot, you can't even land on Venus - it's a gas planet!" And, no, he wasn't joking.

LOL.

Venus has a very thick atmosphere... and... uh.... it's so hot that it'll turn your spaceship INTO gas.... and.... uh....

4. Not only did this guy utter those words....
... but NO ONE in the entire prouction process caught the error -- not a single person from the studio during taping, to the edit room, to the executive suite where the thing was previewed for release.
