Experts puzzled by spot on Venus
Astronomers are puzzled by a strange bright spot which has appeared in the clouds of Venus.

The spot was first identified by an amateur astronomer on 19 July and was later confirmed by the European Space Agency's Venus Express spacecraft.

Data from the European probe suggests the spot appeared at least four days before it was spotted from Earth.

The bright spot has since started to expand, being spread by winds in Venus' thick atmosphere.

1. Interresting.
That has to be one huge spot given the size of the planet.

8. Could Venus had been hit like Jupiter was?
Astronomers have recently been studying a "scar" on Jupiter, thought to have been caused by a comet or asteroid impact.

If this is a hit coming so soon after Jupiter got hit, what are the odds we are next?

13. Hey, it's not that bad "comets only rarely cause extinctions on Earth. "

Newly Discovered Cometary Route Sneaks Past Jupiter, but Decreases Risk of Earth Impacts

Astronomers have used the comet record — including 2001 RX14 (Linear) at left, captured in 2002 by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey — to model a new route for incoming comets that sneaks past Jupiter's gravity.

The pathway might even be the dominant one that delivers Oort Could comets on an Earth-bound trajectory, say the authors of a new study in Science this week — but if that's true, comets only rarely cause extinctions on Earth.

14. Russia Says Comet Strike On Venus Following Jupiter Hit Is “Dire Warning’ For Earth
http://www.fourwinds10.com/siterun_data/space/space_exploration/news.php?q=1249337365

Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

Russian Scientists reporting to Prime Minister Putin in the Kremlin today are issuing what they call a “dire warning” for our Earth following another meteorite strike upon one of the Planets in our Solar System following the Planet Jupiter being hit this past fortnight on July 19th.

According to these reports, and which have been confirmed by Western News Sources, our Solar Systems second Planet from the Sun, Venus , was likewise struck by a comet/meteorite causing a massive spot to form in its atmosphere exactly like the one that has formed on Jupiter after it was similarly struck.

Interesting to note about the propaganda Western media reports on this strike on Venus is their absurdly claiming that the massive damage done to this Planet “could have” been done by a volcano, despite the fact, and which they freely acknowledge, that “no firm evidence for present-day volcanism” has ever been discovered on Venus.

Russian Scientists, however, are re-stating in their reports that the cause of the Inner Planets of our Solar System being targeted by the “rogue” objects originating from the Oort Cloud is due to “an “unusual and growing” gravitational “influence” appearing to have been generated from the extremely rare triple conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron which is “severely altering” the paths of space debris”.

Even worse, contained in these reports, and in what can only be described in the most catastrophic of terms, is the detailing of facts relating to our Sun’s current “Century Class Event” that has seen our Solar Systems “main engine” so disrupt the geomagnetic alignment of Earth due to its lack of sunspots that “weather chaos” is threatening our World’s very ability to feed itself.

..more..
