1. So cool. Thanks for sharing it.
I will never go to space but I am glad at least a tiny fraction of humanity has "broken the surly bonds of Earth".

The ISS represents 0.01% of world's GDP and is money well spent. We need amazing things like this.

7. Incredible. Why doesn't the DoD swap its budget out with NASA?
We would have so much more to show for the blood and sweat we shed for our shared treasure.

Bankers, investors, CEO's and politicians - just why do they believe they deserve so much and for what reasons? This world is simply amazing and they drain it for their own petty ends. They have their worshipers - the republicans - but they squander the greatest treasure of all. All the better they don't make it out into space. They'd muck that up too. But for those of us who have awakened even an inkling of compassion and awe, our joy could be endless if we'd only break out of chains of violence.

The DoD - all that money just to destroy something so beautiful.
