Today my doctors nurse just about told me to vote Democratic

I was asking her to fill out the forms so that I could get prescription assistance because right now I have no job and no insurance. She was very helpful and friendly- and then at the end she said our health care system was a disaster and to make health care an issue when I vote this fall. I said, "Well, I won't be voting for the party that has nothing more to offer than Health Spending Accounts" and we both started laughing.

I knew my MD was a Democrat because I've known him for years. Usually I am the one telling my pharmacist, dentist, etc. that they need to vote for Democrats to solve the problem. And every time I've done this, they're already there but quiet about it at work. I don't assume that health care providers give a damn, because I have certainly worked for rich doctors who probably don't worry about whether people can pay at all. But thankfully, some of them really do want change.

a couple of weeks ago because my hygienist wouldn't stop talking about politics, and how she used to be for Hillary, but was now really turned off by her and was voting for Obama.
