1. I heard about this... it's a damn shame
that we can't build housing for the people who serve us in the community; as well as for the poorer among us.

Noooooo, housing is a commodity now. It's like GOLD. It's not about the American dream or home ownership any more, it's about the market. Property is for "investing" nowadays, forget about a "family home".

I gotta admit, I really hate the investment class today. If they want more money, roll up your goddamned sleeves and go out and labor for it. Retirement investments is one thing, but commodities and other types of investments/trading is fucked up. It drives the cost of everything sky high.
