Surry Co. prosecutor says he's "very close" to indictments in Vick case

11:52 AM EDT on Monday, September 24, 2007

As of late Monday morning, Surry Co. Commonwealth's Attorney Gerald Poindexter had yet to decide whether to seek charges against Michael Vick during Tuesday�s Grand Jury session.

"It's very possible the case will be presented" to a grand jury, Poindexter said. "Then again, it may not. I don't know."

When asked if Poindexter still hoped to eventually indict Vick and three co-defendants on dogfighting charges, he said, "Yes, absolutely. That's a promise to you."

4. BOY could I use some right now.

The Corgs try to lick your face off, Vin is learning to "High Five", Black Jack has now learned how to get on the breakfast bar (we are out 2 pounds ground sirloin, 2 pounds boneless organic chicken, 1/2 pound of butter and 3 bananas complete with peel.)
