Biggest Misconceptions about PETA and/or vegitarianism

What are they?

A few:

1.) They want to take away your dog or cat
2.) They want to set all animals free in the streets
3.) Humans need protein!
4.) Vegetarians are unhealthy
5.) Humans have canines-so they are meant to eat meat
6.) How do we know plants don't feel pain
7.) Native people and subsitance living people cannot live without meat--what should they do?

Yeah, buddy, I'm sure you did a lot of fighting. I always suggest they jump in a lion's cage and see what the lion thinks of the "food chain." I mean, might makes right, right?

But the stupidity of #6 never fails to have me bashing my head against a wall, especially when people keep arguing about it like it's NOT one of the most idiotic things I've ever heard.
