For when you feel our words fall on deaf ears

Don't let the few vocal assholes drive us out, some people see, some people think, some peoples lives change. That's enough for me to keep up the good fight.

" How terrible!! This is humans at their lowest. Where is the compassion for the poor defenseless animals. The eyes on that creature who was still alive after being skinned is heart wrenching. I am sick to my stomach. What can we do??? I was planning a trip to China this summer but will now cancel. I will forward this link to all friends so that we can get the message out. "

"Somebody here posted a link to the Kosher slaughterhouse video a couple months ago, and I went 90% vegetarian immediately. I still eat fish and eggs, and drink free-range milk, so I'm not a purist or anything but that was just so brutal. I couldn't participate in it anymore."

When I see encouraging input like this, I have to wonder how many out there had the same thoughts and reactions but lacked the courage to speak up. I'm so happy we can make just a little bit of difference here. It warms my heart.

It's so disheartening to see people, especially here, being so callous, but you're right -- we may not see all the people who are moved or touched or just made to think by others expressing their views.
