1. My Grandfather and my Dad passed away from this disease
(Dad died this past Nov). The Oncologist referred my family to a John Hopkins study of families with pancreatic cancer. There are so many risk factors......

We are of Eastern European descent and I was raised on Kielbassi :-(.

2. Hot dogs also increase risk of throwing up in one's own mouth
I'm sorry, whoever came up with the idea of the "hot dog" is either an idiot or an evil genius. Take all the leftover pig parts, blend, liquify, reconstitute, cook and sell. Geez, they did that with cows and came up with gelatin and car parts. Hog farmers came up with hot dogs.

Go figure.

I DO like a couple of the veg versions, though.

3. According to the meat industry:
"The most important fact is that the larger body of evidence has shown that processed meats are a healthy part of a balanced diet."

Um, yeah. Right. So according the meat industry, cheez whiz, hot dogs, and bologna are a healthy part of a balanced diet. :eyes:

I'd like to see that large body of evidence. And Oscar Meyer does not count as a source.

4. What if it's Dr. Oscar Meyer, PhD?
I mean, c'mon.
