The Last Supper

I noticed you were asking about movies the other day in the Lounge, smbolisnch. Have you seen The Last Supper? I watched it again the other day. A bunch of liberal young people invite right-wing nutcases to dinner, and they have um, er...discussions. Cameron Diaz and Annabeth Gish are a couple of the young people.

They eat a lot, but there are no gratuitous meat shots (unless you count for humor).

I liked Donnie Darko, but Requiem for a Dream I never could watch all the way through. I've seen segments of it when it was on cable. Just seemed to torturous too subject myself to, and I usually like dark movies. The Last Supper is dark humor, which is my favorite kind. }(

I just watched Requiem tonight. That was so sad. Really disturbing. Most of all, the mother. :( It was beautifully done, though.

I liked Donnie Darko. I have a lot of questions about it, but can I just say, Jake Gyllenhaal is ridiculously HOT. :crazy:

I'm not much of a Jennifer Aniston fan, but that was a good movie.

He's a little young for me, but....oops what I was going to say would be a spoiler if you haven't seen TGG. Yeah, he's cute. LOL.

GREAT movie :) He is hot in anything, though. :P

I was going to say...*I* would have run off with him, damn it. Man, that Aniston. What a butthead.

totally. It was a sad ending, I thought. She was crazy, for sure.

I love Kirsten Dunst, too, but boy am I jealous!
