Coming in January: "Month of Apple Bugs"
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/securityfix/2006/12/january_2007_month_of_apple_bu.html

A pair of security researchers has picked January 2007 as the starting point for a month-long project in which each passing day will feature a previously undocumented security hole in Apple's OS X operating system or in Apple applications that run on top of it.

The "Month of Apple Bugs" project, currently slated to begin on Jan. 1, is being orchestrated in part by a security researcher who asked to be identified only by his online alias "LMH." This is the same researcher who in November ran the "Month of Kernel Bugs" project. LMH's partner in this project is Kevin Finisterre, a researcher who has reported numerous bugs to Apple over the past few years.

2. Thanks. Keep us updated if
you see a link to this project. I will do the same. Jan 07 is an auspicious time for this coming soon after Christmas. Lots of new Intel based Mac users and new Mac users in general will be getting started with virgin machines.

3. Oh, don't worry
Nomad's mission in life seems to be pointing out every possible Apple flaw he can find. I have no doubt he'll be on top of things in the new year.

Edited on Wed Dec-27-06 06:12 AM by Nomad559
I have to remind you of this FACT

I have been posting "negative" and "positive" articles on ALL operating systems and browsers on this forum for over two years now, and I always get crap from the Mac and Linux fanboys for posting anything negative about their preferred poison.

Why Is that?
Why are they so thin-skinned?
What the hell Is wrong with these people?

It's just software people, nothing more.

9. Well, it's been six days
and my Mac is still here and hasn't succumbed to any bugs or other nasties, and I've been pushing it hard.

10. Why is someone who hates Macs and Mac users
allowed by DU to ruin this forum? A certain DUer comes over here and posts nothing but negatives about Macs, yet the mods do nothing. I thought this was a forum for Mac enthusiasts, not Mac bashers.
