Does it make any difference where I buy DIMMs?
Need to add some memory to a nice old G4 500MHz. Figured out what I need, but there are endless brands and places to buy. Anybody have any advice on reliable suppliers or brands? Does it matter?

Crucial.com? I've bought sticks from them for years and never had a problem. They're a bit more pricier than some other vendors though. Oh, I'd vouch for Small Dog also.

I think that it does matter when the memory stick fails for whatever reason and you have to go through the respective customer service experience to get a refund or exchange. When everything is working OK - it doesn't matter except the price.

3. I second Small Dog and Other World.
Both have treated our machines nicely and have excellent service.

DH is a fan of crucial, but I'm not because long ago, they were not so good on the service and I have not forgiven them. (Incident before DH and I met.)
