I need a printer...I'm thinking of getting an "all-in-one" that prints,
copies, and scans.

Any suggestions? I would like to keep the cost below $250.00.

Thanks in advance!

1. i have an hp office jet 6210 all in one, it was about $200 and it works fine.
the copies are good quality but the speed of making copies is pretty s-l-o-w. it also has a port to plug your digital camera right in there to print photos.

2. We bought an HP AIO printer at Costco for $79, they're $69 now.
We bought the printer last year. It prints, copies, and scans, and I think it does a pretty good job at all of them. Ink cartridges seem to last longer than they did in our old Epson.

Why pay $250 when you can pay $69?

Gorgeous color printing, fast, the ink doesn't dry out, you can make copies without turning on your computer, it doesn't have to be on at all if you're not using it, about $100, AND it has slots for media cards!

4. HP makes a good All in One for about $200 or less.
I have one and it does everything - faxes, prints, scans, copies.
Uses the same ink as my printer.

Mine is a HP director 5500, but they probably don't make that one any more. Here's a link to the direct HP site--

5. I got a free HP F380 AIO when I bought my PC notebook.
But I have the AIO plugged into my Mac.

I've been happy with the software and performance. Head over to HP's site and look at their pricing/compatibility. Make sure the one that you like works properly on a Mac.

If you're looking for photo quality, the AIO I have is not the ticket. But for homework and such, it works very well.

6. HP's are good, but scanning sucks.

Scanning is easy, but the quality isn't up to my standards.
