Has anyone used the magic mouse yet?
I am thinking of getting one, but I would like some information before spending the 69.00 on it. Thanks in advance.

2. No, & I don't think I will try it. Reason: I think the last much-hyped Apple mouse
(the Mighty Mouse) was a piece of junk; the hidden buttons worked fine, but on both of the ones that I bought the scroll ball quickly stopped working correctly -- and repeated cleaning efforts didn't remedy the problem.

After that, I'm not really interested in another Apple mouse -- and certainly not at $70

I've never liked any apple mice, ever. I like my Logitech stuff a hell of a lot better.

First, we have only one button; then, they have to do the "rocker" style, which I hated; then instead of a click wheel, they put a ridiculous little nubbin. I have a little Logitech Bluetooth mouse that I've had for two years, and has never failed me. 2-button, click wheel with side-scrolling.

4. I've read it is beautiful but uncomfortable.
After fighting to keep my Mighty Mouse clean I bought a top end Logitech cordless and I am very happy with it.

8. I took the plunge, just couldn't get past the look of it and....
It is wonderful! Works, eases the pains in my hands, smooth and seamless. I hate to be a total Apple geek, but I am and this mouse is worth the money!

9. Kensington trackball for me.
It feels better to have my arm and wrist stationary, and I have finer control over the cursor.

10. I have a MacBook with the one piece glass trackpad
I like it better than any mouse/trackball I've ever used. Scrolling, zooming, resizing and managing Expose are all easily done depending on how many fingers you have on the pad.

12. I did at best buy while trying out the $1599 27" iMac
It's better than the chicklet keyboard... though I prefer Logitech (the company that supports their keyboards with mac drivers but not mouse drivers, :mad: )

The mouse feels rather better than the previous round 'mighty' mouse... but there's no double-click. I think they incorporated trackpad features into the mouse, but it wasn't working for me....

14. Yes...I like it
We got our mom an iMac as a combination birthday/Christmas present. So I was using the magic mouse that came with the computer quite a bit during setting it up her new computer earlier today. I like it, but I do think it takes getting used to. I left the little tip sheet Apple provided up on the desk so she'd see it.

18. You can set it up the way you like
I have right click, left click, scrolling within the page, and sideways movement. You can set it up as a left hand mouse as well. Additionally if you hold the control key and push your finger from the center of the mouse forward, you can zoom the page. Pretty slick.
