Any legal eagles who use data base, billing programs here?
For most of my practice, PI Powertool 2010 works fine, although I had to get used to the time and billing, and I still need to input more document drafts. It is stable, easy to use, and although it has some limitations, especially as to the kind of case you are working up, it has become a useful tool for me. The calendar works great, the database is decent, and the form generator is becoming more and more useful. All in all, a nice program for a small office like mine.

I migrated from LegalSuite, with emphasis on "migrated."

I'd spend hours inputing data, following every instruction, and saving every input.

The next day, or two days later, EVERY SINGLE CALENDAR date would have migrated elsewhere. When it started "migrating" time and billing, I quit. I cannot afford to run a program so unstable and so migratory. Heh, their help line took way to long to deal with, and when I did get a hold of someone, they accused me of not saving my data entry. So, I let them hook up on line, I added data, I saved the data, and lo and behold, the fucking data MIGRATED.

anyone else have experience with a litigation manager, or trial assistant?
