What to put in the bird
I make dressing in the crockpot (recipe on request) and cook my bird empty. This year, I'm gonna put:

Rosemary sprigs
Thyme sprigs
Parsley sprigs
Sage sprigs
Wedged onion
Cut celery

Any other herbs/veggies/seasonings I should try?

Ok, I'll bite--I'd love to have the recipe for that.


As for what to put in the bird, my SO always cuts an apple into big wedges and places them in the bird (along with the things you already mentioned).
