Which level of All-Clad cookware do you use?
Here is the link..... I think if you are going to spend the "big bucks", get it with copper in it.....

I'm getting ready to invest, so feedback is welcome. I realize that it depends on the cooking need....thus I will buy each utensil separate.

3. All CLAD baby!
I have been collecting this for about 7 yrs. now, every Xmas I get a new piece. We started with the stainless set, then a couple years ago I got a CoprChef set with alternating dutch oven and skillet, small 1 qt. saucepan. I have mixed and matched almost every kind, looks pretty cool.
The only pieces that I am annoyed that I bought are the non-stick, one did not hold up very well, and now I don't like the health risks from non-stick (when heated I think it gives off fluorocarbons?)

Overall, All-Clad is THE BEST. I had a copper 3 qt. casserole develop a small spot in the bottom, and they gave me a brand new one, no questions asked. It pays to buy good cookware, you won't be disappointed.

Aren't you in OH? The All-Clad factory is in Canonsburg PA, just south of Pittsburgh where daughter #2 goes to school, they have a twice yearly sale that I have been meaning to hit...as soon as I am settled in Cincy, that sale is going ON the calendar! I think it is in June and January.

6. Forgot to add...
While I love the look of the Copr-Chef, I have a propane stovetop and it gets really discolored. In fact everytime I use it, it is a major ordeal to clean the exterior. Hence, I hang it on my potrack and mostly just enjoy looking at it. The stainless is much more functional. -48

7. I bought this cheap set of Wolfgang Puck from a discount retailer
and have been extremely happy with it. I figured I'd have to replace it in a couple years, but 5 years later it looks and works as good as new

i especically love the see thru lids for all the pans and it is easy to clean

9. My wife got me a set of
Wolfgang Puck knives last Christmas. While they are not my Henckels chef knife, they are very usable, a nice selection, and hold an edge well. An improvement from my mix-match collection I've used for years.

8. I don't own any All Clad, but I do have some Spring
Spring and All Clad are the same product, but with different handles. Spring is the commercial stuff and All Clad is the home stuff.

Both share the same bowls and same construction, but the Spring has a more industrial/utilitarian look because of the handles. Spring is also cheaper when you can find it. Try a restaurant supply house.
