2. I'm on my third one of those
I had two of the tilt top mkodels and gave one to each of my sons. I now have a 6 qt pro model.

All have worked well and are often used in our house.

The oldest of them is now with one of my sons and is more than 25 years old and still running like new.

3. Hand Blender
I posted this in another thread but here it is. I love this thing. Great for pureeing soups without taking them out of the pot or off the stove. I also use it in place of a food processor now...any kind of dicing of several veggies at once, etc. My baby:

4. two favorites are

I love the kitchen aid mixer's abilty to change into other appliances by adding attachments. I use the grinder & the shredder/slicer pretty often.

The good thing about the attachments is they will work with the new mixers or the older ones. The hub never changes. I have taken my new attachments over to my aunt's house & used them on her mixer from the 60's!
